The municipality has an accident and emergency service which shall meet the need for emergency assistance. Contact the service when it is not possible to contact your regular GP.

If you consider that you have not received the necessary assistance or are not satisfied with the manner in which it was carried out, you may send a complaint to the municipality or directly to the responsible service provider. Explain why you are dissatisfied and which changes you would like to be made.
 

How to receive the service

Emergency service to residents in Vestre Toten is related to Gjøvik Inter Municipal Emergency (GIL) at the Hospital in Gjøvik.
Time is available by ordering on tel no 61 13 70 00

Emergency Room is open:
at 1500-0800 on weekdays and at 0800-0800 on weekends and public holidays.

In need of medical attention during the day Mon-Fri physician must be contacted.
